Air Pneumatic Hose Pipes

• IS: 446 Type-1, IS : 446 Type-2, IS : 446 Type-3.

Application:

• Hose confirming to Type-1 of the specification are "Air Hoses" which are used for light duty air services with mechanical tools and equipments operated by Air compressors and are suitable for working pressure upto 7 kg/cm²
• Hose confirming to Type-2 are "Pneumatic Hoses" which finds its use in pneumatic tool services in Mines, Quarries, Construction work, Road building and Tunneling
• Also used at the service stations for inflation of tyres
• They are suitable for working pressure upto 10 kg/cm²
• The "Rock Drill Hoses" confirming to Type-3 of the specification are used for the most severest conditions prevalent in rock drilling and other heavy duty pneumatic applications of Mines, Quarries suitable for working pressure upto 14 kg/cm²
